Luming Valley derives its name from the abundance of deer that once inhabited the area. It is a renowned primitive secondary forest canyon in central Hunan, connecting two scenic spots¡ª"Primitive Village" and "Shengquan Tianlong Gorge" (Jiulongtan Village)¡ªvia the west gate.

The area is densely forested with a variety of exotic flowers and rare fruits. It boasts thousand-year-old vines, century-old hawthorn trees, and kiwi trees; and is rich in medicinal herbs such as schisandra fruit, gastrodia elata, and umbrella fern. The wildlife here includes wild boars, wild goats, pheasants, thrushes, and other unidentified bird species. In the streams, one can find giant salamanders and stone frogs. Following a flagstone path, visitors are surrounded by lush bamboo groves and dense forests, with the murmuring of streams and the chirping of birds creating a celestial symphony that transports one to a fairyland.
Within the valley, visitors must cross a swaying iron chain bridge, offering a thrilling yet safe experience. Subsequently, they ascend a wooden spiral staircase carved into the cliffside. At the staircase's turning point, there is a small pavilion that, when viewed from afar, resembles several blooming mushrooms on a blue-stone cliff, adding a touch of freshness and beauty amidst the layered mountains.
