Emerald Screen and Golden Pagoda

The Emerald Screen and Golden Pagoda is a masterpiece among the stalagmites in Boyue Cave. In April 1982, when CCTV filmed the scene of "Sun Wukong's Three Battles with the White Bone Demon" here, this platform served as the White Bone Demon's resting tower. On the left stands a flat and towering stalagmite, resembling the spread tail feathers of a green peacock, while on the right rises a conical stalagmite, akin to a golden pagoda. Hence, we named this scene "Emerald Screen and Golden Pagoda."

General's Hall

General's Hall is named after a stalagmite in the center of the scene that resembles a mighty general. The hall stretches over 30 meters in length and rises 15 meters in height, presenting a vast and magnificent cavern with an awe-inspiring atmosphere. The stalactites stand tall, stalagmites cluster densely, stone curtains hang high, stone pillars loom majestically, stone draperies drape low, stone flowers bloom exquisitely, and stone waterfalls cascade swiftly, creating a step-by-step spectacle that overwhelms the eyes. Within General's Hall lies a remarkable feature known as the Milky Way Waterfall, a major wonder of Boyue Cave. This large stone curtain, formed by limestone erosion, spans over 10 meters in width and stands about 8 meters tall, with a thin, clear spring still flowing evenly from its top. From afar, it appears grand and powerful, reminiscent of the poetic lines by Li Bai, the Tang Dynasty's "Immortal Poet": "Water rushes straight down three thousand feet, as if the Milky Way had fallen from the sky." Above the stone waterfall, legend has it that Yuexiang, a maiden, once hung her shawl and skirt to dry; in reality, it is a stone shield formed by slightly pressurized fissure water flowing from a crack. Starting from the fissure, it forms two upper and lower plates that grow outward in concentric rings. If the water flow is substantial, water flowing from the shield's periphery can form stalactites or stone curtains below, combining with the shield surface to create a "dome-shaped mosquito net" structure, also known as a shield canopy. All these features are classified as secondary chemical deposits in karst geology.

Sea and Sky Vista

The Sea and Sky Vista is a unique spectacle in Boyue Cave. The cave ceiling is a single, massive limestone slab covered with numerous network-like stone troughs, some reaching depths of 1.6 meters. How did such deep and extensive troughs form? According to geologists, millions of years ago, Boyue Cave was an underground river. These troughs were eroded by the rising waters over countless years. Such a grand sight of network-like stone troughs is unique to Boyue Cave among currently developed caves, leading visitors to mistakenly think they are viewing the Terracotta Army of Emperor Qin Shi Huang. Thus, the network-like stone troughs represent Boyue Cave's first world record. Imagine these troughs densely covering our heads like ever-changing clouds, beneath which lies a vast and misty ocean. Here, the sea blends seamlessly with the sky, and sunset glows dance with stone dragons. The horizon merges sea and sky, with waves and clouds shifting in a magnificent display of nature's grandeur. This scene is known as the "Sea and Sky Vista."

Monkey King's Throne

The Labyrinth is a cavern in Boyue Cave that integrates various karst landscapes from around the world. Its mystery lies in its ruggedness and enigmatic scenery, often disorienting visitors amidst its dazzling array of uniquely shaped karst formations. In the center of the Labyrinth Hall stands the Monkey King's Throne, left behind during CCTV's filming of the TV series Journey to the West.

Giant Stone Dam

The Giant Stone Dam, standing over two meters tall, belongs to the same category as the Thousand-Hill Fields but is significantly larger and taller. In a cave named "Ganqi Cave" in Yugoslavia, there is a stone dam measuring only 1.43 meters in height, once hailed as the world's tallest. In comparison, our stone dam unquestionably claims the title of the world's tallest.
