The Boyue Cave Scenic Area is located 2.5 kilometers north of the suburbs of Lengshuijiang City, known as the "World Capital of Antimony." It borders the Meijiang Scenic Area in Lianyuan to the east, the Daxiong Mountain National Forest Park in Xinhua to the west, the Former Residence of Zeng Guofan in Shuangfeng to the south (less than 100 kilometers away), and the Antimony Culture and Craft Park to the north. It served as the filming location for the scenes of the "Three Battles with the White Bone Demon" and the exterior of the Water Curtain Cave in the 1986 Yang Jie version of Journey to the West.

Boyue Cave is a world-class karst museum. It is densely filled with karst formations, with towering stone columns creating a variety of splendid landscapes. It is a large-scale limestone cave of great ornamental and scientific research value.
The length, height, and breadth of Boyue Cave, along with the extraordinary, bizarre, and beautiful karst formations within, are truly rare. The cave contains caves within caves and halls within halls, showcasing superb craftsmanship by nature, with every step revealing a new scenic wonder. The 1,700-meter-long cave is adorned with a profusion of stalactites, standing stone, forest-like stone pillars, curtain-like stone draperies, and hanging formations in myriad postures, creating a dazzling and breathtaking spectacle.

Moreover, Boyue Cave boasts the largest number of goose-pipe formations in the world, earning it the title of a world record holder.
Boyue Cave is divided into three levels, with an underground sightseeing route spanning over 1,800 meters that has been developed. It features 27 grand halls and 81 scenic spots, covering a total area of over 40,000 square meters.

The entire cave complex centers around the Labyrinth Hall, with the front section featuring spacious and magnificent halls exuding grandeur, while the rear section is characterized by densely lined formations that are crystal clear and translucent.
Entering through the entrance of Boyue Cave, visitors are greeted with a series of spectacular, exquisite, fascinating, and interesting scenic spots that flow seamlessly together like a string of pearls, leaving them in awe and reluctant to leave.
Natural attractions such as the Jade Pillar Supporting the Sky, the Milky Way Waterfall, the Sea and Sky Panorama, the Goose-Pipe Cluster, the Thousand-Hill Fields, the Heart-Cleansing Boulder, the Flying Sword Cleaving the Cliff, the Dead Wood Springing Back to Life, and the Divine Monkey Seeing Off Visitors are truly classic sights.
The Boyue Cave Scenic Area is divided into five functional zones: the Karst Cave Group Viewing Area, the Artificial Lake, the Flower and Fruit Mountain, the Leisure Area, and the Children's Entertainment Area. The Karst Cave Group features the Boyue Cave, which showcases stalactites as its main attraction, the Guanyin Cave for worship and prayer, and the Changsha Cave for thrilling exploration. The Children's Entertainment Area offers twenty-seven amusement projects and an Olympic Park with over ten fitness activities. The Flower and Fruit Mountain currently only features a zoo. The Vacation and Leisure Area boasts the largest open-air barbecue site in central Hunan, as well as the Boyue Hotel, which integrates tea houses, dining, accommodation, and entertainment.
