The cave is not a cave, but a basin-shaped valley surrounded by rocks and surrounded by a ravine on one side. Zixiadong is a canyon with winding paths leading to secluded areas. It is named after the reddish-brown red cliffs surrounding it. The sunset reflects thousands of rays of rays and creates a rising purple atmosphere.

Zixiadong Scenic Area includes more than 20 scenic spots including Zixia Palace, Wanjingcao, Ziweifeng, Honghua Chibi, Wuyunzhai, Liu Huaxuan Tomb, Zixiaxuan, General Tomb, Elephant Trunk Stone, and Hongwa Mountain, covering an area of 3.80 square kilometers. The environment inside the cave is beautiful, with luxuriant vegetation, strange rocks, and winding peaks. It is characterized by deep forests, streams, waterfalls, pictographic rocks, and religious temples. The 700-meter-long Red Wax Mountain Danxia Red Cliff has an average height of more than 100 meters. The cliffs are as red as fire, rough and majestic, densely covered with caves, and full of sights. Zixia Palace was built during the Jiajing period of the Ming Dynasty. It was once a Buddhist holy place in southwestern Hunan, with drums at dusk and bells in the morning and incense curling up. Throughout the ages, there has been an endless stream of people burning incense and asking for fortune-telling. According to legend, all requests are answered, and it is one of the seventy-two Buddhist resorts in the world. Climb up to the observation deck, lean on the railing and look out into the distance, you can have a panoramic view of Langshan with thousands of mountains and thousands of valleys and clouds running through it.
