The ancestral hall of Xie Bingying's family was constructed in 1941, covering an area of over 2,000 square meters. It adopts a typical architectural style that blends folk customs from central Hunan with Hui-style elements. The black-tiled, white-walled courtyard layout, the painted gates, and the intricately carved upturned eaves all exude the essence of traditional Chinese culture. The four characters "Loyalty, Filial Piety, Integrity, and Chastity" are inscribed on the walls, symbolizing the spiritual heritage of the family. Within this grand residence, the new building named "Shouyuan" (Guardian Garden) and the old building "Huazhuo Hall" bear witness to Xie Bingying's childhood growth and her bold attempt to flee an arranged marriage.

"Shouyuan" was where Xie Bingying lived during her youth, a place from which she repeatedly escaped marriage to pursue a life of freedom. The well-preserved carved windows and colorful, carved eaves inside the house fully showcase the artistic charm of central Hunan architecture. "Huazhuo Hall," her birthplace, continues to awe visitors with its magnificent architectural style. Today, the site has been designated as a "Provincial-Level Cultural Heritage Protection Unit of Hunan" and a "Cultural Exchange Base for Overseas Chinese Affairs," symbolizing the cultural and historical significance of Xie Bingying and her family.
