Meijiang Scenic Area is located in the northern part of Lianyuan City, enjoying convenient transportation and communication. It offers comprehensive services covering food, accommodation, transportation, sightseeing, entertainment, and shopping.

The Meijiang Scenic Area boasts unique scenery with concentrated attractions and a complete range of landscapes, characterized by extraordinary sights, perilous settings, and a mystical journey. It features an imperial mausoleum, two beautiful lakes, three rock gates, four green oases, five temples, six grand waterfalls, a seven-li (a traditional Chinese unit of length, approximately 0.5 kilometer) gorge, eight steep peaks, a winding Meijiang River with nine bends, ten breathtaking views, a hundred peculiar caves, a thousand cleverly shaped stones, and ten thousand wintersweet trees. The geological and geomorphological features of Meijiang are low-mountain karst landforms, with unique geological structures, fully developed rock fissures, and thorough karst geological processes. For instance, the "Heavenly Bullet Ready to Launch" on Xianglu Hill, the "Natural Bridge" in Xianren Mansion, the "Lotus Spring Gushing" on Guanyin Cliff, the "S-shaped Deep Gully" in Longquan Gorge, and the "Natural Mural" in Zangjun Cave are all rare geological relics in the world, possessing extremely high aesthetic, scientific research, and popular science values. It is a comprehensive scenic area that combines natural beauty as its main body, Meishan culture as its connotation, and karst geological relics as its distinctive feature.

Since its development and construction in 1992, Meijiang has opened six major scenic spots, namely Guanyin Cliff, Zangjun Cave, Xianren Mansion, Saihai Lake, Longquan Gorge, and Dajiangkou. A series of tourism service facilities have been put in place, initially forming a "three-day tour" tourism pattern.
